Common Sense couldn't be more excited to welcome Sabrina Lee as Nonprofit and Social Enterprise Director.
As Nonprofit and Social Enterprise Director, Sabrina will be based in the Cape Town office to work directly with nonprofit clients to help them reach development and communications goals through strategic planning and execution.
Common Sense Founder, James Cannon Boyce, has always said instead of forming his own nonprofit, his aim was to help nonprofits succeed in their goals: “Any organization we work with has goals – but each one has its own set of goals and we have to look at how to help each one in its own light take a unique approach on growing. Not only does Sabrina Lee understand that critical piece of ‘common sense’ she has helped global nonprofits like the UN Women – South Africa Office and The Lunch Box Fund realize it too.”
Most recently, Sabrina served as External Relations Manager for the LEAP Math and Science Schools leading the development of their fundraising and communications strategy to support a budget of more than $4 Million USD and outreach included global corporations; family trusts and foundations; and individuals.
Originally from the UK, Sabrina is based in South Africa and has fifteen years of experience in the non-government organization sector in South Africa, UK, Nigeria, and Tanzania in HIV/AIDS, public health, gender, human rights, urban development and education sectors.
Her strengths include fundraising strategy and proposal development; donor relationship management; program design and planning; monitoring and evaluation; social science research and training.
She is most passionate about employing her skills to support local and community organizations to strengthen their programs and organizational sustainability through capacity building and consulting.
So welcome, Sabrina! 2016 will be a tremendous year with you onboard.
